Now, this is really important - Your Personal Brand! And, because of its importance, you will need to give it careful thought. Regardless of where you are on your professional journey, making sure you are representing your brand and thus yourself accurately will differentiate you out there in the world of millions of candidates.


I am sure you are wondering - “Well how do I create and define my brand”? The answer will come through serious introspection and by asking yourself a whole host of questions starting with these: Who are you? What are your values? What do you most admire about yourself? Slowly, you will begin to see and feel the essence of how you view yourself in the world. and knowing this will help you construct an underlying profile for your formal persona. YOUR BRAND.


Words alone won't create your professional brand, but they will certainly help to support it. This is particularly meaningful for recent grads who may not have much work experience. The words you choose must be carefully curated to differentiate you in your job search. Your words need to be vivid, positive, and action-oriented in order for your panache to come through.


As you consider the description of your experience, seasoning word choices that correlate with the four aspects of personal branding: should provide a solid road map.. These aspects focus on skills and competence, personality and character, motivation and drive, and lastly achievements and experience. By honing in on these areas, you can start to build a strong personal brand that will serve you well both professionally and personally.


Remember your brand can be seen by your picture on Social Media and also by the words of your profile which will infuse it with feeling.
